![]() He can voice two characters with different treats, and also he can sing. He also sang with the other four voice actor from Free! as Style Five, and sang the ending theme of Free!. He is a vocalist of band OLDCODEX who has sung for the ending theme of Kuroko no Basuke and also the opening of the very new season from Free! : Dive to The Future. Even though I can tell it’s Suzuki-san’s voice, the vibes between those voice is completely different. Bandits don’t have to sweet talk.īut hey, Suzuki-san is a great voice actor who can be both of them! Makoto’s voice that is warm and pleased to hear and Ban’s voice that is rough comes from the very same person. That’s why he has rough personality and sometimes talks rude. He grew up in a tough environtment where he needs to do bad sort of things to keep living. Ban comes from a village full of bandits. In opposite, Ban is not that warm of man. A warm guy whose laugh can make you laugh as well. He likes to smile, he speaks politely with a lot of people, he’s the type of guy you want to be friends with. Not only he’s hot with his back muscle, but he has kind heart. I like to describe him as a husband material. I think you guys (if you have watched these animes) can immediately tell the difference between them. ![]() The warm vs the naughty : Tachibana Makoto ( Free! ) vs Ban ( Nanatsu no Taizai )Īnother couple of characters that has different are Makoto from Free! and Ban from Nanatsu no Taizai. He can be a cool, prince like guy with charming voice, but he also can be the noisy and cheerful guy in a sport team who likes to yell “ROLINGGU THUNDAAAH” when he saved a ball. It proves that Okamoto-san is not popular by no reason. So, I think, Nishinoya and Usui are both characters who have not much similarities, but was brought by Okamoto Nobuhiko well. He’s cool, he’s hot, he can do a lot of things, in other words, perfect. Likes to reject any confession, doesn’t interested in any girl but the female protagonist, yet likes to tease her. Usui Takumi is described as a prince-like guy, your typical cool boy at school anime. ![]() Who knows that Nishinoya Yuu is also Usui Takumi? Not only Bakugou who makes people think that he’s always angry toward Midoriya, but he voiced Nishinoya Yuu who is one of the most loveable character in Haikyuu because of his treats : he’s noisy and often yells, but he’s reliable and doesn’t like the word “give up”. He also often get to be the main character in an anime, Bakugou Katsuki from Boku no Hero Academia for example. There are a lot of people who said that Okamoto-san is their favourite voice actor. Okamoto Nobuhiko is one of the most popular voice actor in Japan, I think. The cool vs the cheerful : Usui Takumi ( Kaichou wa Maid-sama! ) and Nishinoya Yuu ( Haikyuu!! ) There my be the completely opposite different characters from other animes, but I use them because I know them more. (Notes : all of these characters are only from the anime I’ve watched/have heard about. So, I thought, “Why don’t we have lists of characters with opposite treats but have same voice actors?”. When I heard Suzuki-san acted his scene, I realized that he also voiced another characters that is very different with Ban. There are only six seiyuus who appeared, Kaji Yuki (Meliodas’ VA), Amamiya Sora (Elizabeth’s VA), Suzuki Tatsuhisa (Ban’s VA), and also Hawk’s VA, Gowther’s VA, and Elaine’s VA. It’s like a mini seiyuu event where voice actors acts the scene from the anime and talks about their thoughts on the scene. I got the idea of this post when I watched a special stage of Nanatsu no Taizai even though I don’t even know what they’re talking about.
